The Rock Springs football team is right in the hunt for a home playoff game in 4A after a 58-0 road win over Cheyenne South on Friday. The Tigers are 3-2 and poured it on in the first half of play with 44 points.

In quarter #1, Rock Springs started with a 4-yard run for a touchdown from Jurnee Padilla which was followed by a safety, then a 39-yard gallop to the end zone from Kaleb Praytor and a 29-yard run for a TD from Sam Thornhill.

In quarter #2, Praytor ran for 6 yards and a score, followed by a field goal, a blocked punt for a touchdown by Karsten Shassetz, and then he caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Logan Condie.

Condie added a 1-yard plunge into the end zone in the 3rd quarter and Padilla added a 25-yard for a score.

Rock Springs will be at home to meet Thunder Basin and it's been a tough year for Cheyenne South as they sit at 0-5. The Bison will have a road game this week at Campbell County.
