Rock Springs Players, Coach Pleased With First Playoff Win [VIDEO]

The Rock Springs Tigers defeated the Kelly Walsh Trojans, 42-21, last Friday night in the first round of the 2021 Class 4A football playoffs.

Senior QB Brock Bider finished 214 yards of total offense and was responsible for three touchdowns. He threw for two and ran for another. The Tigers got three more TD runs, as they led 42-0 at the end of the third quarter.

In the fourth, Rock Springs put in their backups to rest their starters for the semifinals.

WyoPreps spoke with Bider and fellow senior Andrew Skorcz, as well as, head coach Mark Lenhardt after Rock Springs' victory.

The Tigers are now 9-1 on the season and will host Cheyenne East in the semifinal round of the 2021 Class 4A playoffs. The game kicks off at 6 p.m.
