It's been a bit of a rough season for the very young Rock Springs Stallions, but manager Rocky Rondinelli sees progress.

Coming off the 2021 season, Rock Springs returned only a few players with Class AA American Legion Baseball experience. They've taken their lumps, but the squad has kept with it, all while trying to play their best baseball at the end of the season.

WyoPreps had a chance to visit with manager Rocky Rondinelli last week about how his team has progressed, the fight they've shown lately, and preparing for the postseason.

The Stallions have the No. 7 seed at next week's Class AA Wyoming American Legion Baseball State Tournament in Sheridan.

Rock Springs went 6-49 in the regular season and 2-12 in league games.
