Rock Springs came to Casper for the 4A Conference wrestling duals over the weekend and the Tigers did go 1-2 but they have a very competitive team. At the heavyweight spot, they have a returning state champion in A.J. Kelly and looks just as dominant this season as he did last season. Kelly is also an all-state lineman in 4A football and has signed with the South Dakota School of Mines to continue his athletic career.

Broc Fletcher is ranked #1 by Wyowrestling.com at 106 pounds and he is just a freshman. He has some serious ability and the transition from junior high to high school wrestling has been seamless. At 152, Mason Yenney was a state placer a year ago and 160 pounder Cash Christensen is another guy who placed a year ago.

We had a chance to chat with Kelly and Fletcher over the weekend and they shared their thoughts on the season to date and their approach on the mat.
