The Rocky Mountain girls squad overcame a 3-6 start to claw their way into the 2A state tournament and finish the year at 14-13. The Grizzlies did have an all-state selection in Teagan Townsend who averaged 7 points a game. Tori Steed threw in 8 a game and Melynda Davidson averaged 7. At the 2A West regional, Rocky defeated Shoshoni in the opening round, lost to Wyoming Indian in round two, punched their ticket to state with a win over Kemmerer and then beat Shoshoni again to wrap up regional play. At the state tournament, the Lady Griz had their hands full with Pine Bluffs and lost 53-21, going just 3-17 from 3 point land. Steed led the way with 8 in that contest. Steed also had 8 points in Rocky's 33-20 loss to Big Horn in a loser-out game.
