Saratoga’s Tuker Carricato Does More Than Just Rodeo
Tuker Carricato of Saratoga certainly has made a name for himself in rodeo as he placed first at the National High School Finals Rodeo in the bareback this past July in Gillette. He won the national championship with 229 on 3 in a very crowded and talented draw. You will be seeing a lot more of him in the rodeo arena in his junior and senior seasons.
In the meantime, Carricato wrestles for Saratoga and he certainly has a high level of skill on the mat. A year ago, he took 3rd at the 2A State Tournament at 113 pounds and finished the season at 32-8. In his freshman year, Carricato placed 5th at state in the 2A 113-pound class with a record of 16-6.
He's not the only wrestler to excel in rodeo and figures that wrestling will help him in rodeo and vice versa. We talked with the young man at the Shoshoni Duals about his 2- sport career.
