Sheridan Boys Basketball Team off to a Strong Start

The Sheridan boys basketball squad has won 8 of 10 so far this season and has gained some traction since the beginning of the season. The Broncs have 3 players who are averaging in double figures, Garrett Spielman with 15 a game, Truman DeGrange with 13, and Cael Hamrick with 12. Hamrick is a returning 4A All-State player, Spielman was named All-Conference and DeGrange has displayed significant improvement from a year ago.

Sheridan went 13-18 last season which is very unusual by their standards and missed the 4A State Tournament for the first time since 2016. The Broncs have the talent to get back to March Madness and are coming off a 46-41 road win over Kelly Walsh their last time out. It wasn't an easy game but they made the plays they needed to make down the stretch.

We talked with Spielman and DeGrange after that contest in Casper and they'll take a victory any way they can get it.
