Shoshoni Girls Basketball Wrap

Even though the Shoshoni girls basketball team finished the year under .500, they did manage to make the 2A state tournament. The Lady Blue earned a berth at state with wins over Riverside and Wind River at the 2A West regional and that that winning margin over Wind River was just 2 points Sophomore Cheyenne Thompson earned all-state distinction by averaging 10 points a game. Thompson had 12 points in Shoshoni's opening round loss to Southeast and 10 in their consolation round loss to Greybull 55-42. The Lady Blue finished at 12-16 and will have to replace 4 seniors from this year's team.
