Only Nordic skiing will compete during Week 9 of the prep skiing season in the Cowboy State. It’s the two-week delayed Cody Invite at Pahaska, west of Cody. Conditions improved just enough to allow the two race days to happen. Alpine skiers have an off week on their schedule.

Skiing fans, if you are at a race and taking pictures of the race, WyoPreps would like to use them with your permission. Please reach out to or so we can receive pictures from the races in the 2024 season.

There is no high school competition for downhill skiers this weekend.

They return to the slopes next week for the Pinedale Invitational on Feb. 23 and 24, 2024. The Pinedale Invitational will be at Snow King Resort in Jackson due to a lack of snow at White Pines Ski Area outside of Pinedale.
