The Jackson girls and Kelly Walsh boys captured the 2025 Wyoming High School Nordic Skiing State Championships last Saturday in Laramie.

The 2025 Wyoming High School Nordic Skiing State Championships will wrap up the prep season outside Laramie this weekend.

It's been a busy time of the year for prep sports.

Six girls and six boys are the finalists for this week’s WyoPreps Athlete of the Week honors presented by Premier Bone and Joint Centers.

Thanks to their performances last week, Feb. 3-Feb. 8, 2025, Lovell senior Danika Crumrine, Kelly Walsh senior Fisk Johansson, and classmate Dylan Sorensen received the weekly accolade.

Six girls and nine boys were chosen as the finalists for the WyoPreps Athlete of the Week awards presented by Premier Bone and Joint Centers.

Nordic skiers return to the trails after a week off from the high school schedule for their only stop outside the Oil City.

There's been no shortage of high school athletics this time of year.
