Wyoming High School Skiing Scoreboard: Feb. 14-15, 2025
Both skiing disciplines will have competitions during Week 9 of the 2025 season. Cross-country skiers head to Cody for their final regular season action before the state championships, which are two weeks away. Downhill skiers are back in Casper for the second time this season. It’s only the third that both will be skiing on the same weekend.
WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL SKIING SCHEDULE AND RESULTS WEEK 9
Nordic skiers head to the Cody Invite at Pahaska, which is 44 miles west of the town of Cody. The course is on the boundary of Yellowstone National Park. Friday will be a 5km classic race at 1 p.m. The varsity girls will ski first, followed by the varsity boys at 1:20 p.m. Saturday features a 10km skate or freestyle race. It begins at 9:30 a.m. with the varsity boys. Then, at 9:50 a.m., the varsity girls will get onto the course. Both races have skiers starting every 15 seconds.
Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Natrona County, Pinedale, and Sheridan will compete on the trails this week.
FRIDAY RACE RESULTS
Pinedale's Olivia Tolson won the girls' division at 22:51.90. Fisk Johansson of Kelly Walsh took the boys' title at 18:37.47.
SATURDAY RACE RESULTS
Tolson and Johansson completed the weekend sweep. Tolson won her second weekend race at 33:18.33 Johansson finished first in the boys' race at 27:10.85.
Alpine Skiing
The Britt Farr Memorial Race at Hogadon Basin Ski Area on Casper Mountain is what’s on tap for Alpine ski racers. They will compete in slalom on Friday starting at 10 a.m. Saturday is the GS race, also at 10 a.m. Both races will be on the Dreadnaught ski run.
Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, and Pinedale will compete at Casper.
FRIDAY RACE RESULTS
Jackson's Callie Owens (1:54.14) and Nico Tozzi (1:31.76) won the slalom races.
SATURDAY RACE RESULTS
Dylan Witherite of Jackson won the GS with a 2-run combined time at 1:15.14. Nico Tozzi of Jackson finished the sweep with a GS victory at 1:10.72.
