Wyoming High School Skiing Scoreboard: Jan. 24-26, 2024
For the second straight week, downhill skiers will be back on the slopes with their second action of the 2024 season. This weekend is the make-up for the invitational on Casper Mountain that was postponed two weeks ago. For Nordic skiers, this will be their first weekend off in January. It is Week 6 of the 2024 high school skiing season.

WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL SKIING SCHEDULE ON JAN. 24-26, 2024
Alpine Skiing
After opening the season in Laramie last weekend, teams head to Hogadon Basin Ski Area on Casper Mountain for two days of racing on Thursday and Friday. It is the delayed Bruce Studer Memorial Ski races.
Thursday will be Giant Slalom racing on Boomerang Run. The skiing starts at 2 p.m. Friday will be the Slalom competition at 10 a.m. on Boomerang Run, as well.
Casper will host racers from Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, and Pinedale.
Thursday Results:
Girls = Jackson swept the top 3 spots. Kylie MacMillan won the GS at 1:09.69. Dylan Witherite was second, and Maddie Ryan was third.
Boys = Jackson took the top 4 spots. The GS race was won by Liam Logan at 1:06.00. Travis D'Amours took second, and Adi Wetzler finished third.

Friday Results:
Girls = Jackson swept the top 5 spots. Kylie MacMillan won the race at 1:25.04. Witherite was second again, and Ryan took third again.
Boys = Jackson had the top 4 skiers. Liam Logan also won the slalom at 1:19.32. D'Amours finished second again, and Brett Lane took third. The boys' results are on page 4.
Final Team Scores:
Girls = Jackson 158, Natrona County 64, Cody, 41, Pinedale 40, Kelly Walsh 31, Laramie 8.
Boys = Jackson 158, Pinedale 64, Natrona County 47, Kelly Walsh 31, Cody 26, Laramie 16.
Nordic Skiing
For the first time in the new year, cross-country skiers have a weekend off from high school competition. After racing in Casper, Jackson, and Pinedale over the last three weeks, this will be a rest week. They return to action next week for the Cody Invitational at Pahaska.
