After the weather interfered last week, this might be the first time in the 2024 season that Wyoming High School skiing has a full weekend of competition. Of course, it’s all weather permitting, and if roads open up, it would allow teams to reach their destinations. Downhill skiers are trying to make their season debut at Laramie, while Nordic will compete for the fourth time this season at Pinedale. This is Week 5 of the prep skiing season in Wyoming.

Skiing fans, if you are at a race and taking pictures of the race, WyoPreps would like to use them with your permission. Please reach out to or so we can receive pictures from the races in the 2024 season.

Alpine Skiing

It’s been nearly two months since Alpine skiers began practice in November, before the Thanksgiving holiday.
