Wyoming Prep Alpine Skiers Heat Up The Slopes For Final Weekend Races
The regular season of Wyoming High School skiing ends this weekend. Downhillers will have their last two days of racing in Pinedale. Meanwhile, Nordic skiers are enjoying a break, as they prepare for their state championships next weekend in Pinedale. This is Week 10 of the 2026 season.
WYOPREPS WEEK 10 SKIING SCHEDULE 2026
White Pines Ski Area serves as the host to the final Alpine ski races of the 2026 regular season. Both days of competition will be giant slalom (GS) races. All six schools will compete on Friday and Saturday. The racing starts at 10 a.m. each day. Over 100 skiers will race at various levels. Last week, skiers from Natrona County and Jackson captured the individual races. The Cody girls and Jackson boys were the team winners.
The race results will be posted after the competitions are complete.

Fine-tuning for State
Nordic skiing does not have a competition this weekend. They are finishing their preparation for the 2026 state championships at Pinedale next weekend. Originally, Lander was scheduled to host the state championships on South Pass, but a decision was made earlier this month to move them to Pinedale because of better snow conditions on their trails.
