Laramie’s Jack Voos Inks for Skiing at Wisconsin-Green Bay
Laramie’s Jack Voos will continue cross-country skiing in college. He signed at Wisconsin-Green Bay to ski for the Phoenix. Voos was a three-time all-state performer for the Plainsmen. He recorded five top-10 finishes at the Wyoming High School State Championships during his time at LHS. Jack was a four-year letter-winner and skied at the state championships all four years of his prep career.
Voos took fourth in the 5km classic race at the 2025 Wyoming High School Nordic Skiing State Championships last February on his home course. He crossed the finish line at 16:28.4. In the 10km freestyle race, Voos took sixth place at 29:20.3. He earned all-state for the third straight year.
As a junior in 2024, Voos placed seventh in the 5km freestyle and was 18th in the 10km classic race. Back in his sophomore season in 2023, Voos finished fourth in the 5km classic race and sixth in the 10km freestyle race. In 2022, as a freshman, Voos was 24th in the freestyle and 29th in the classic race.

Voos also competed in cross country and track and field during his prep career at LHS.
Wisconsin-Green Bay competes in the Central Collegiate Ski Association (CCSA), which is an NCAA skiing-only conference. Only 27 institutions offer Nordic Skiing in the NCAA.
