Buffalos, Warriors, and Tigers Join the New WyoPreps Soccer Rankings

Three teams entered the new WyoPreps Coaches and Media Soccer Polls for the first time on Wednesday. The Worland girls, Mountain View boys, and Rock Springs boys debuted in this week’s top five. Worland grabbed the No. 5 spot in the 3A girls’ division. Mountain View’s two wins last week at No. 1 Cody and No. 2 Powell helped the Buffalos jump into second in the 3A boys’ poll. Rock Springs edged into the 4A boys’ fifth position, despite a loss in their last match. Meanwhile, the four top-ranked teams remained Powell and Kelly Walsh in the girls’ polls and Cody and Jackson in the boys’ divisions.

WYOPREPS COACHES AND MEDIA SOCCER POLLS WEEK 4

There were no unanimous picks for No. 1. The closest race was in 3A boys, as the Broncs and Mountain View each received four votes for the top spot, but eight ballots for second helped Cody remain on top.

1 = Powell

2 = Lander

3 = Douglas

4 = Cody

5 = Worland

Class 4A Girls:

1 = Kelly Walsh

2 = Jackson

3 = Green River

4 = Sheridan

5 = Thunder Basin
