The Fillies and Broncs Top the Latest WyoPreps Soccer Rankings

Two new top-ranked teams in girls’ soccer highlight the new WyoPreps Coaches and Media Soccer Polls, revealed on Wednesday. Cody and Jackson claimed the top spots in the girls’ and boys’ rankings. Last week's win by the Fillies on the road at previously top-ranked Powell pushed Cody to No. 1 in 3A girls. They received seven of the ten first-place votes. Douglas earned the other three and climbed to second by three points over the Panthers, who fell to third. The top two in 4A girls swapped spots after Jackson beat Kelly Walsh last Friday. The last change in this week’s polls was in 4A boys, where Cheyenne Central and Thunder Basin traded positions at the bottom of the top five.

WYOPREPS COACHES AND MEDIA SOCCER POLLS 4-30-25

No one was a unanimous pick for No. 1 this week. The Cody and Jackson boys were one vote shy of that distinction. Only one other team in all four divisions received a vote for the top spot. Three teams in each girls’ poll and two in each boys’ ranking picked up votes.

Class 3A Girls:

1 = Cody

2 = Douglas

3 = Powell

4 = Lander

5 = Worland

Class 4A Girls:

1 = Jackson

2 = Kelly Walsh

3 = Sheridan

4 = Natrona County

5 = Laramie
