Star Valley certainly has been rolling along this season. After winning the 3A state title a year ago, the Braves have reeled off 5 wins in a row including a shut-out of Green River on the road back on Friday.  This was a very tightly contested game and Star Valley earned everything they got. The Braves got on the board first as RJ Cazier crashed into the end zone from the 4-yard line in the opening quarter so it was 7-0 and that’s the way it stayed until the halftime intermission.

Star Valley found the end zone again in the 3rd quarter thanks to Cazier again to cap an 88-yard drive to put the Braves up 14-0.

Star Valley iced the game away in the 4th quarter thanks to Cazier again. This Td was set up by a long completion to Chase Merrill. The 2 point try was good and the Braves led by 22. The Braves defense turned away Green River all game so the final 22-0 in favor of Star Valley so they are 5-0 on. Green River is 1-3. Star Valley has an intriguing game with Powell on Friday afternoon. The Wolves with an intriguing game of their own on Friday, traveling to Jackson.
