You would be hard-pressed to find a stronger wrestler, pound for pound than Kole Kraus of Kelly Walsh. The guy is an animal and won his 2nd straight 4A, 195 championship with a 15-7 win over Kaden Lloyd of Green River. His skills are good but his strength is his biggest attribute. Over the course of the last 2 seasons, Kraus is 93-15 including a mark of 46-7 this year. Lloyd was in the final 4 at 170 a year ago and his season came to an end at 31-13

A couple of really strong guys battled it out in 3A at 195 pounds as Star Valley's Trent Clark took on Ben Banville of Burns Pine Bluffs. Clark took first at 182 a year ago and won another title at 195 with an 8-5 win over Banville. Star Valley won the team title but Clark's win was the first for a Brave wrestler on the night after 5 losses in the championship round. Clark's two-year record was an incredible 76-6. Banville was outstanding this year with a mark of 43-3

The 2A 195 pound state champion this year is Tate Carson of Southeast who beat Colton Befus of Wind River 8-4. Carson was the state runner-up in 2019 at 170 pounds and was 38-11 this season. Befus competed at 182 in 2019 and took 4th. His prep career concluded with a record of 28-6.
