Sublette County Swimmer Israel Seemann Will Be a Firestorm

Israel Seemann from the Sublette County swim team has signed with Arizona Christian University in Glendale, AZ.

Seemann is a 2020 graduate of Big Piney High School.

She helped the Sublette County swim team to a fifth-place finish at the 2019 Wyoming Class 3A Girls State Swimming and Diving Championships last November.

As a senior, Seemann took 11th place in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke races. She also swam on the fifth-place 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.

Seemann qualified and competed at the state championships all four years of her high school career, both individually and on relays. She swims all freestyle events, plus the butterfly and backstroke events.

The Arizona Christian Firestorm competes at the NAIA level for swimming. They finished 17th at the NAIA National Championships in 2020 and set six school records at the meet.
