After a fantastic 2024 Wyoming American Legion Baseball season, Powell Pioneer Brock Johnson was selected as the first WyoPreps Athlete of the Year award winner for Legion Baseball.

Natalie Clonch of Thunder Basin High School had a big senior season to earn the first WyoPreps Athlete of the Year award for Girls Softball.

Yoder’s Hadley Thompson had quite the high school rodeo season and received the first WyoPreps Athlete of the Year award for Girls Rodeo.

The first WyoPreps Athlete of the Year award for Boys’ Rodeo, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Wyld Gear, goes to Gillette’s Keyton Hayden.

The recipients are Avery Gray from Wyoming Havoc 18U softball, Avon Barney of the Sheridan Troopers, and Holden Christensen from the Casper Oilers.

The Lovell Mustangs rallied from a slow start and won the Bolln Memorial Baseball Tournament in Douglas last week behind the performance of Lafe Files and others to get our Athlete of the Week award.

An outstanding track athlete and baseball player received the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming WyoPreps Athlete of the Week honors.
