There’s a new #1 in Girls Basketball Rankings This Week
Girls basketball has a new #1 team.
Natrona’s overtime win over previously unbeaten and #1 Sheridan has made way for Cheyenne East to take over the top spot in 4A. Gillette moves to second while Sheridan falls to third. #5 Laramie goes to #2 Gillette and #3 Sheridan this weekend.

3A continues to see Douglas dominate. The Lady Bearcats took all 22 #1 votes while Star Valley got all 22 #2 votes. Rawlins and Torrington again go three and four with Lyman back in the five spot. The fourth ranked lady Blazers take on #1 Douglas tomorrow. Buffalo was ousted this week from the rankings.

2A has Tongue River with all 17 votes at #1. Lovell moves back into the two spot after their overtime win at #3 Thermopolis last weekend. The Lady Bulldogs get another crack at the top ranked Eagles when they go to Dayton Saturday. Thermop, Wind River and Burns round out the class.

1A is again close, but Cokeville remains #1 with Lingle Fort Laramie a close second. Upton is third with Little Snake River fourth. Rock River drops back down to #5.
