The top teams remained the same, but there are three new teams in the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Soccer Polls.

The Cody and Thunder Basin girls, and the Worland and Jackson boys remained No. 1 in the new rankings.

Class 3A girls were the one poll that didn’t change. The Fillies earned all 14 first-place votes and stayed at the top. They are followed by Lander, Mountain View, Buffalo, and Green River. A few more teams received votes.

Thunder Basin was a unanimous choice in the 4A girls’ rankings. The Bolts got all 12 first-place votes. Riverton debuted in the poll at No. 2. The Wolverines are off to a 5-0 start, which included wins at Natrona County and Kelly Walsh last week in conference action. Jackson held steady in third, while Natrona dropped to fourth. Cheyenne East remained in fifth. Five more schools picked up votes.

Worland was a near-unanimous No. 1 in 3A boys. The Warriors just beat No. 2 Powell head-to-head, but they received 12 of the 13 first-place votes. The one holdout went to the Panthers, who remained second. Cody and Lander stayed third and fourth, respectively. Torrington made their debut in the 3A boys’ poll at No. 5.

Finally, in 4A boys, the top three are the same as last week. Jackson was still No. 1 with 10 of the 14 first-place votes. Both Kelly Walsh and Sheridan got at least one first-place vote. They stayed at second and third. Cheyenne Central climbed to fourth, while Laramie debuted in the rankings in fifth.
