Cokeville’s Bryli Groll has signed with the University of Wyoming track and field program. Groll was a three-time state champion in the 800 meters, three-time state champion in the 1600 meters, two-time state champion in the 3200 meters, and a state champion in the 400 meters. She holds the Class 1A state record in the 1600 (5:21.44) and 3200 meters (11:50.81). Groll also holds school records at CHS in the 1600 meters, girls’ javelin, and the Sprint Medley Relay.

In May, Bryli was named the Southwest District Outstanding Senior Female Student Athlete of the Year. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was the student body president.

Groll also excelled in volleyball and basketball for the Panthers. She earned several all-conference awards and an all-state honor in volleyball. Groll was a member of the 2023 Class 1A state championship volleyball team. Bryli was also on the 2020-21 Class 1A state champion basketball team. Groll led Cokeville to the 2021 and 2024 Class 1A state championships in track and field.

A release from Cokeville High School stated, “Bryli juggles all of these things amazingly and puts forth 100% effort in every aspect of her life. Bryli’s legacy will continue long after she has left Cokeville High School, and we are grateful for the impact she has had on the students and staff during her 4-year high school career.”

Groll will enroll at UW this fall.
