
Wyoming High School Outdoor Track Scoreboard: April 9-12, 2025
Week 4 of the Wyoming High School track and field season might be the busiest so far in 2025. This week features the most in-state track meets this season, as teams try to take advantage of a good week of weather around the state. There are eight track meets in Wyoming this week. The action starts on Wednesday and rolls through Saturday. Green River, Douglas, Upton, Cheyenne, Dayton, Powell, Big Piney, and Glenrock are the host sites. Teams are also going to track meets in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Utah. A few schools will send select student-athletes to the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in California, a national competition.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9:
GRHS TRACK AND FIELD INVITE at Green River HS – Evanston, Farson-Eden, Green River, Pinedale, Rawlins, Riverton, Rock Springs.
Girls Team Scores = Rock Springs 160.50, Riverton 127.50, Green River 124, Pinedale 79, Evanston 45, Rawlins 36, Farson-Eden 22.
Boys Team Scores = Rock Springs 197, Riverton 163, Green River 80, Evanston 75, Pinedale 52, Rawlins 44, Farson-Eden 12.
Brynn Bider of RS won the 100, 200, and long jump. Green River's Lillian Allison swept the throws. For the boys,' Dalton Marincic of RS won the 100 & 200 meters and was on the winning 4x100 relay. Jonas Slater from RS won the 110 hurdles, the high jump and was on the 1st place 4x400 relay. Kayden Liebrecht from Riverton swept the throws.
THURSDAY, APRIL 10:
Out-of-State events:
Mitchell Invite in Mitchell, NE – Lingle-Ft. Laramie.
The Doggers were 7th in the boys' division and 10th in the girls. LFL boys took 3rd in the 4x100 relays.
Sugar-Salem Invite in Sugar City, ID – Star Valley.
Star Valley took 2nd in the boys' division with 91 points. The SV girls placed 4th and scored 36.5 team points. The Braves won the 4x100 relay. Hayden Morgan won the 110 & 300 hurdles. Preston Ross won the 400 meters.
FRIDAY, APRIL 11:
DOUGLAS TRACK PENT at Douglas HS – Campbell County, Douglas, Glenrock, Guernsey-Sunrise, Rawlins.
Girls Team Scores = Douglas 241, Rawlins 115, Campbell County 82, Glenrock 71, Guernsey-Sunrise 18.
Boys Team Scores = Douglas 158, Campbell County 148, Rawlins 116.50, Glenrock 110.50, Guernsey-Sunrise 21.
MICK TONKEL FLY HIGH CLASSIC at Upton HS – Arvada-Clearmont, Hulett, Kaycee, Midwest, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Sundance, Thunder Basin, Upton, Wright.
Girls Team Scores = Wright 156.50, Sundance 95.50, Lusk 82.50, Upton 76, Hulett 52.50, Kaycee 45.50, Moorcroft 29, Midwest 14.50.
Boys Team Scores = Sundance 126, Wright 107, Upton 96, Lusk 79, Midwest 46, Hulett 34, Moorcroft 33, Kaycee 16.
OKIE BLANCHARD INVITE at Cheyenne East HS – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Encampment, H.E.M., Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Lingle-Ft. Laramie, Natrona County, Pine Bluffs, Rock River, Southeast, Torrington, Wheatland.
TR INVITE at Tongue River HS in Dayton, WY – Big Horn, Greybull, Sheridan, Shoshoni, Ten Sleep, Thunder Basin, Tongue River, Western Heritage Lutheran Academy.
Out-of-State events:
Arcadia Invitational in Arcadia, CA – Cheyenne Central, Jackson, Laramie, Sheridan, Star Valley. - all Wyoming athletes compete on Saturday.
Greeley Twilight Invitational in Greeley, CO – Saratoga.
Phil Wertman Invitational in Grand Junction, CO – Little Snake River.
Queen City Classic in Spearfish, SD – Buffalo, Campbell County, Newcastle, Sheridan, Thunder Basin, Wyoming Indian.
Thunder Basin won the boys' division (143.5 points) and took 2nd (121.5 points) in the girls. Campbell County girls tied for 8th, Buffalo was 10th, Sheridan was 12th, Newcastle was 15th, and Wyoming Indian placed 22nd. In the boys' standings, Campbell County was 8th, Buffalo 9th, Sheridan 15th, Newcastle tied for 18th, and Wyoming Indian tied for 20th.
TB's Taven Young won the boys' 100 & 200 meters. Cameron Pilcher won the 400 meters. TB won the 4x100 relay & 4x400 relay, Carson Shear won the pole vault, and Garrett Breuer won the triple jump. Buffalo won the 4x800 relay.
In the girls' division, TB's Grace Miller won the 100 meters, Carlee Roth won the 800 meters, and Lillyann Melton won the shot put. Sheridan's Lilly Charest won the pole vault.
SATURDAY, APRIL 12:
LA KOHNKE POWELL INVITATIONAL at Powell HS – Burlington, Cody, Lander, Lovell, Powell, Riverside, Rocky Mountain, Thermopolis, Worland.
PUNCHER INVITE at Big Piney HS – Big Piney, Farson-Eden, Lyman, Mountain View, Pinedale, Rock Springs.
TONY LEHNER/AL FINCH INVITATIONAL in Glenrock – Glenrock, Hulett, Lusk, Midwest, Prairie View Community School, Rock River, Sundance.
Out-of-State events:
Arcadia Invitational in Arcadia, CA – Cheyenne Central, Jackson, Laramie, Sheridan, Star Valley.
Billings Invite in Billings, MT – Big Horn, Buffalo, Sheridan.
Sheridan won the boys' division with 112 points and took 3rd in the girls' division. Buffalo was 6th in the girls and 13th in the boys. Big Horn took 12th in the boys and 17th in the girls' division.
Maddix Jarvis of Sheridan won the 100 & 200 meters. Ryder Charest won the 800 meters. Garrett Otto swept the 2 hurdle races. Ruby Jacobs won the girls' 100 hurdles. Loralai Ketner won the 300 hurdles. Buffalo's Grace Finkle took 1st in the discus.
Grizzly Invitational in Logan, UT – Cokeville, Evanston, Jackson, Lyman, Mountain View.
Evanston was 2nd in the boys' division at 98.50 team points. They were 7th in the girls at 62 points. Mountain View girls took 10th and boys were 17th. Jackson was 11th in both divisions. Cokeville came in 13th in the girls' standings. Lyman placed 18th in the girls' division.
Ayden Hartzel of Evanston won the 200 meters. Evanston won the 4x400 relay in the boys' division. Jackson won the girls' Sprint Medley relay.
