The second half of the Wyoming high school indoor track season is upon us. In Week 5, two indoor track meets are in the state this week, and both are on Saturday. The number of teams competing in Casper versus Gillette is similar. As of now, no one is competing out of state. Evanston will also host a small throwing-only competition on Thursday. Next week is the big Simplot Games in Idaho.

Here is the schedule for Week 5 of indoor track. Schedules are subject to change.

Thursday, Feb. 13:

Evanston Throwers Meet from Evanston HS: Throwing-only events begin at 4 p.m.

Teams Attending: Evanston, Mountain View, Star Valley.

Saturday, Feb. 15:

Bronc Indoor Invitational from the Campbell County Recreation Center Fieldhouse in Gillette: Field and Track events start at 9 a.m. Running events will be on a rolling schedule.

Teams Attending: Big Horn, Buffalo, Campbell County, Cody, Douglas, Powell, Sheridan, Thunder Basin, Tongue River, Torrington, Worland.

No girl won multiple events. Thunder Basin girls won 6 events, and Sheridan won 4 events.

Cody's Kyler Stinson tied for first in the 55 meters and won the 400 meters. Worland's Trajn Swalstad swept the 2 distance races, the 1600 & 3200 meters. Both Thunder Basin and Cody took first in 5 events.

Mustang Invite 2025 from the Natrona County HS MAC in Casper: Field events start at 9 a.m. The 3200m begins at 9 a.m. The rest of the Track events start at 10 a.m. and follow a rolling schedule.

Teams Attending: Burn/Pine Bluffs, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Glenrock, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins, Riverton, Rock Springs, Star Valley, Wheatland.

No girls won multiple events. Laramie won 5 events, and Natrona County won 4.

NC's Logan Borden won the boys' 55 & 200 meters. The Mustangs won 4 events,  Cheyenne East won 3 events, and Cheyenne Central won 3 events, as well.
