
Wyoming High School Indoor Track Scoreboard: Feb. 7-8, 2025
The 2025 prep indoor track season in Wyoming has reached the midpoint. This is Week 4 of the season, and only four weeks are left after this, which includes the state championships in Gillette that are one month away. Thunder Basin High School in Gillette will host the biggest event in the state on Saturday. Over 20 teams are expected to compete in the Basin Nation Indoor Invite. A few schools will compete in a distance challenge on Friday and a sprint challenge on Saturday in Utah. Some schools are also heading to Idaho for the Stacy Dragila Open.
Here is the schedule for Week 4 of indoor track. Schedules are subject to change.
Friday, Feb. 7:
Basin Nation Indoor Invite from the Campbell County Recreation Center Fieldhouse in Gillette: Field and Track events start at 9 a.m. Running events will be on a rolling schedule.
Teams Attending: Big Horn, Buffalo, Burn/Pine Bluffs, Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Cody, Douglas, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Powell, Rawlins, Riverton, Sheridan, Thunder Basin, Tongue River, Torrington, Wheatland, Worland.
Thunder Basin's Ashley Rogge won the 55-meter hurdles, high jump, & long jump. East's Maggie Madsen won the 800 & 1600 meters. No boy won multiple events.

REP Distance Challenge from the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns, UT: The rolling schedule starts at 4:30 p.m.; Events = 400m, 800m, 1600m, and 3200m.
Teams Attending: Evanston, Mountain View, Star Valley.
Jase Burton of Star Valley won the 1600 meters in the HS division at 4:15.09. Habtamu Wetzel placed third.

Saturday, Feb. 8:
Stacy Dragila Open from ICCU Dome at Idaho State Univ. in Pocatello, ID: Field events start at 9 a.m. Track events begin at 9:20 a.m.
Teams Attending: Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Mountain View Pinedale, Rock Springs, Star Valley.
Madison Antonino of Pinedale was the top high school finisher in the 1600 meters at 5:15.85, the 3200 meters at 11:34.52, and the 800 meters. Pinedale won the girls' 4x400-meter relay at 4:33.81. Green River's Lillian Allison placed 2nd in the shot put and weight throw.
Evanston's Ayden Hartzell won the 400 meters at 50 seconds flat and took 2nd in the 200 meters. The Red Devils won the 4x200-meter relay. Rock Springs was runner-up in the 4x400-meter relay, while Jackson placed third. Trayten Wiedrich won the HS long jump at 20-8.50 and finished 5th in the triple jump.
Golden Sprint Challenge from the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns, UT: The rolling schedule begins at 9 a.m. – 60m, 60m hurdles, 200m, 400m.
Teams Attending: unattached athletes.
