Cheyenne Central senior libero Sophia Cline got to 1,000 digs in her prep career last month. Cline accomplished the feat with 16 digs in a home match against Laramie on October 2, 2025. Sophia helped the Indians to an 11-18 overall record in the 2025 season. Central tied for sixth in the 4A East Conference with a mark of 4-8. They were knocked out after two matches at the regional tournament.

Cline filled the role of libero and replaced an all-state player for the Indians from the 2024 season. She finished 343 digs this year, an average of 3.94 digs per set. Cline added 29 service aces, 51 assists, and three kills in 87 sets played.

As a junior, she contributed 203 digs in a backup role, an average of 2.2 per set. She added 28 aces and 13 assists in the 2024 season.
