Torrington’s Jaycee Hurley Joins the 1,000 Dig Club
Our first milestone of the prep sports year came from volleyball. Torrington senior Jaycee Hurley passed 1,000 career digs at last weekend’s Twin City Volleyball Invite in Scottsbluff and Gering, NE. Hurley is the libero for the Trailblazers, who are 16-10 this season and 3-1 in the 3A Southeast Quadrant.
Hurley has 345 digs across 69 sets played in the 2024 season. She is averaging five digs per set. Hurley has also registered 15 kills and 22 service aces this season.
Jaycee is a three-year letter-winner for the Blazers. She had 482 digs during her junior season in 2023.
Hurley also plays basketball at Torrington High School.
Congratulations, Jaycee, on reaching 1,000 career digs.

If you have a student-athlete who has reached a milestone, please email the info to david@wyopreps.com. We honor passing 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, and beyond. It can be for digs, kills, and assists in volleyball, but we also highlight milestones in other sports.
