There's a new #1 on top of the polls, heading into the second half of the season, while 2 other top ranked teams are starting to see the lead shrink.

Kelly Walsh is the top team in 4A. They moved up, when former #1 Gillette lost to Cheyenne Central last weekend. Natrona holds at #3, while Riverton and Central are tied at #4. Both could have an argument to be ranked higher, because Riverton beat Natrona last week, while Central pulled off the surprise against the Lady Camels. Actually, the Lady Indians and the Lady Wolverines will duke it out, in Casper, one day ahead of the Casper Invitational.

There's very little change in the 3A poll. Rawlins is still #1, collecting all but 1 #1 vote. Douglas is still number 2, and both teams will be at the Casper Invite this weekend vs. a number of 4A teams. Jackson and Star Valley swap spots at 3 and 4, with the Lady Broncs moving up. Powell is back in the rankings at #5.

Wright is still queen of the mountain in 2A...however #2 Kemmerer is closing the gap. The Lady Rangers picked up an impressive road win last week at 1A Cokeville. All-in-all the poll is unchanged with Lovell, Big Horn, and Shoshoni holding at #3, #4 and #5. The game of note is Friday, when Kemmerer travels to Shoshoni...the Lady Blue have yet to play a conference game.

In 1A...Hulett has caught fire after beating #1 2A Wright twice last week at the Lusk Invitational...however they're not hot enough yet, to take the #1 spot from Little Snake River, but the Lady Rattlers are feeling the heat. Meanwhile, Encampment is down to #3, Lingle-Ft. Laramie holds at #4, and Cokeville slips to #5.
