WCA Girls Basketball Post Game Remarks
The girls' basketball game at the Wyoming Coaches Association All-Star weekend started out as a one-sided affair in favor of the North. But the South got with it with a 2nd half rally but fell short 77-69. The North received 15 points from Newcastle's Jaylen Ostenson with Kennedi Niemann of Cody chipping in 13 and Laney McCarty of Thunder Basin getting 12.
The South was led by Brooke Wright of Douglas with 20, Cameron Erickson from Star Valley had 14, Lyman's Sage Bradshaw had 13 with Daljit Kaur from Burns contributing 12.
We had a chance to talk with Jaylen Ostenson, Kennedi Niemann, Brooke Wright, and Kealy Carson of Southeast about the contest and the road ahead.
