The Wheatland Lobos are trying to make it to the state tournament in the midst of the Single-A District Tournament in Douglas.

With a roster full of multi-sport athletes, the Lobos have endured various times without some of their regulars. Combined with working around other camp schedules for other sports, Wheatland is hoping they can make a push at the right time.

WyoPreps recently visited with Lobos' manager Braden Fagenbush about this team entering the postseason. He said they recently with through a stretch to try to mirror the difficulties of playing multiple days in a row like you have to in the postseason. He added that he was blessed to learn from previous longtime skipper Mick Cochran, he talked about how they're playing, how they format their program, and more.
