The 1A State Volleyball Tournament was very competitive with more than a few grueling 5-set matches. That included the title match on Saturday where Little Snake River defeated Cokeville 25-21, 28-30, 25-19, 21-25, and 15-9. A year ago, LSR lost to Cokeville in the 1A championship match but the Rattlers beat Cokeville in the championship game of the 1A West Regional in 2024.

LSR got a big-hitting performance from Kenzie Evans who was an All-State performer a year ago. The Rattlers seemed to get something from everyone on the court at any given time and didn't panic when Cokeville won the 2nd set 30-28. Cokeville entered the match with a record of 21-10 and has been the standard-bearer in 1A Volleyball for generations it seems. The Panthers had to re-load after losing a couple of All-State players to graduation and yet still made it to the championship match. Mia Dayton and Addison Barnes were two players, among others who made significant contributions to the team.

LSR won their first state title in 2016 and finished the season with a record of 29-4. We have some pics to share from that 1A championship match as well as a short video of match-point. Enjoy and look for someone you know!
