
Pair of Casper Baseball Players Sign with Hocking College in Ohio
Casper Legion Baseball players Brody Parks and Ryan Deveraux were looking to continue their careers on the diamond, and after a substantial search, they both will land at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. Parks played 2nd base and shortstop for the Oilers in 2024, and at the plate, he hit .296 with an on-base percentage of .472 and a slugging percentage of .342. Parks drove in 23 runs and had an .874 fielding percentage.
Deveraux was a catcher for the Oilers and played 2 outfield positions. He hit .287 with 32 RBIs, an on-base percentage of .403, and a slugging percentage of .382, with an outstanding .986 field percentage. The Kelly Walsh High School students will play big roles for the Casper "AA" Legion team in 2025.
Hocking College is a junior college institution that plays in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference.
