State 1A Boys Basketball/Lingle-Fort Laramie Postgame Remarks
It took a while but the Lingle-Fort Laramie boys basketball team won a State Championship with a couple of gifted scorers. Brady Cook and Brody Roberts. They combined to score 33 points a game for the Doggers this season and that 1-2 punch propelled them to a 41-32 win over Upton on Saturday to secure that State Title.
Roberts had 20 points in that championship game and Cook added 10, plus 12 rebounds. They were a combined 12-22 from the field on Saturday and that's the kind of production LFL displayed all season. The Doggers won a State Championship for the first time since 1990 with a 28-0 season.
We talked with Cook and Roberts about their dream season, which wasn't as easy as it looked.
