Glenrock basketball player Gracie Sixbey will move up the athletic ladder as she joins the program at Midland University. She had a productive senior season for the Herders, averaging 10.1 points and 4 rebounds per game. She tossed in 23 points vs. Buffalo and 20 points vs. Riverton, which earned 3A All-Conference distinction.

In her junior season, she poured in 11 points a game with a season high of 31 against Rawlins and 22. vs. Moorcroft. She was named 3A All-Conference for her efforts. As a sophomore with the Herders, Sixbey averaged 5.5 points per game. She also competes in track and field and placed 9th at the 2024 State Outdoor Meet in the triple jump, going 32-5-5.

Midland University is an NAIA institution located in Fremont, Nebraska. The Warriors compete in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
