Kyenna Jackson of Encampment Signs with N. Platte for Basketball

Encampment basketball player Kyenna Jackson has enjoyed a solid prep career with the Tigers and will take her abilities to North Platte Community College in Nebraska this fall. Jackson was named 1A All-Conference in the 2023-24 season, averaging 14 points and 8 rebounds per game. She had a season-high 28 points vs. Farson-Eden.

In her junior season, Jackson was named 1A All-State. She averaged 14 points and nearly 8 rebounds a game and shot a remarkable 49% from the field. Jackson had a season-high 28 points vs. Meeteetse. She was a double-double performer in her sophomore season, averaging 11 points and 10 boards per game, and 7 points and 5 rebounds per contest in her freshman year.

Jackson received All-State honors in volleyball in 2024 and was All-Conference in that sport in 2023 and 2022. North Platte is a junior college and their basketball team qualified for the NJCAA D2 National Tournament, going 1-1.
