Wind River basketball player Jonae Spoonhunter has decided on Rocky Mountain College in Montana. This past season, Spoonhunter averaged 10.9 points and 5 rebounds for the Cougars with a season high of 16 points vs. Tongue River and 15 vs. Thermopolis. She was the team's 2nd leading scorer and 3rd leading rebounder.

In her junior season, she led Wind River in scoring, averaging 9 points per game with a season high of 18 points vs. Wyoming Indian. Spoonhunter also averaged 9 points a game as a sophomore and was the squad's #1 scorer. She had a 23-point game vs. Greybull and 20 vs. Big Piney.

Spoonhunter was selected to play in the Lakota All-Star basketball games in Rapid City earlier this month. She was also an outside/middle hitter for the WR volleyball team.

Rocky Mountain College is an NAIA school located in Billings, and its women's basketball team went 20-11 this past season with an appearance at the NAIA National Tournament.
