Teams are spread out at a few meets to get their final times and marks in before the state championships next weekend in Gillette.

Coming off a great showing at the Simplot Games, the state championships next week could feature some terrific performances by Wyoming High School student-athletes.

This is the schedule for the seventh weekend of indoor track. Schedules are subject to change.

Tuesday, Feb. 21:

NC-KW Dual at Natrona M.A.C. in Casper: Events start at 5 p.m.

Teams Attending: Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County

Friday, Feb. 24:

Last Chance Qualifier at War Memorial Fieldhouse in Laramie: Field Events & Track Events start at 9:30 a.m.

Teams Attending: Burns/Pine Bluffs, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Lander, Laramie.

With not a lot of teams able to attend due to closed roads early in the morning, there were not many double-event winners. East's Taliah Morris won the girls' long jump and triple jump. Laramie's John Rose won the boys' long jump and high jump. No team scores were kept.

Sheridan Invitational at Campbell County Recreation Center Fieldhouse in Gillette: Field Events start at 10 a.m. & Track Events begin at 11:30 a.m. (postponed from 2-23-22)

Teams Attending: Big Horn, Buffalo, Campbell County, Cody, Douglas, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Lovell, Powell, Riverton, Sheridan, Thunder Basin, Tongue River, Worland.

Cody's Ada Nelson won the 400 & 800 meters. Thunder Basin's Grace Miller won the 55-meter dash & long jump. On the boys' side, Thunder Basin's Bradley Ekstrom won the 200 & 400 meters. No team scores were kept.

Saturday, Feb. 25:

Golden Sprint Challenge at the Olympic Oval in Kearns, UT: Starts at 8 a.m. – Only sprint events – 60-meter hurdles, 60-meters, 400 meters, 200 meters, 4x400 mixed relay.

Teams Attending: no teams, but individuals may choose to register from Wyoming.
