
Fisk Johansson of KW Signs with Wisc.-Green Bay for Nordic Skiing
Kelly Walsh Nordic skier Fisk Johansson has reached the top of the podium twice in his stellar career and will be taking those skills on the trail to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. At the 2025 Nordic Championships, he won the state title in the 10K Freestyle in 28.21.8 and took 2nd in the 5K Classic with a time of 16.10.
In his junior season, Johansson won a state championship in the 10K Classic in 28.13.36 and was 5th in the 5K Freestyle with a clocking of 13.42. He also competed in the 2023 State Championships, taking 6th in the 5K Classic in 16.34 and 17th in the 10K Freestyle in 32.24.1. As a freshman, Johansson turned in a strong 9th-place finish at the Nordic State Championships in the 10K classic in 32.05.2 and 20th in 20th in the 5K Freestyle with a time of 15.18.4. This past season, he also competed at the National Junior Championships at Soldier Hollow in Utah and also competed at the 2024 Junior Championships in Lake Placid, New York.
Wisconsin-Green Bay is a Division I institution that competes in the Central Collegiate Skiing Association.
