We are reminded of Wyoming's world champion bareback rider, and world-class rodeo rock & roller, Chris LeDoux each Father's Day weekend at Chris LeDoux Days in Kaycee but this year memories were made on Mother's Day. Big Horn High School freshman all-around cowgirl Bleu Butler took home the breakaway roping champion buckle from a Wyoming High School Rodeo Association event in Gillette on Sunday. It's her first high school rodeo victory. Butler stacked a total of nineteen points breakaway roping with first and second-place finishes over the weekend in addition to another nine points tying goats. Bleu is Chris and Peggy LeDoux's granddaughter. Chris wanted to be remembered most as a good husband and family man so he would unquestionably be overjoyed with Bleu's success.
