The weather cooperated enough over the weekend in Casper to host a few soccer matches, and the Kelly Walsh teams went 4-0  with victories over Evanston and Riverton. On Friday night, the KW boys routed Evanston 9-0, and in the first seven goals of the match, Ethan Leslie scored twice, and so did Luka Pike. Joel Jimenez, Brandon Gonzales, and Weston Carlson were also among the first 7 goal scorers. Jimenez and Gonzales both scored in the 13th minute.

On Saturday vs. Riverton, the KW boys dominated the Wolverines en route to a 10-1 victory. Brandon Gonzales and Beau Barclay had 2 goals apiece, with Ethan Leslie, Luka Pike, Cole Bummer, and Johnathon Diaz also finding the net. KW is 3-1 for the year, and Riverton fell to 1-3. The Wolverines' goal was scored by Hunter Saltsgaver.

On the girl's side, Kelly Walsh jumped out to a lead and never looked back as they defeated Evanston on Friday 9-0. Emie McNutt scored for the Lady Trojans in the 18th minute, Sydney Stephan in the 32nd, and Maren Hayward in the 35th minute. In the 2nd half, Kamryn Walker tallied in the 45th minute, and Hayward found the net twice for the hat-trick.

On Saturday, KW played host to a pesky Riverton team and prevailed 3-0. The Trojans scored all three of their goals in the 2nd half from Stephan, Hayward, and Hailey Larsen. The Trojans are the defending 4A State Champions and are 4-0 on the year, while Riverton is 1-2-1 so far on the young season.
