A number of ranked teams in the bigger classes lost last week, and that created some change-ups in the latest coaches and media rankings.

It's clear which team is #1 in 4A, as defending champ Cheyenne East raked in all of the first place votes. Their sweep of #2 Gillette last week, made it official. On the other side of the state, Green River pulled off back to back surprises at home vs. the Casper schools, and now the Lady Wolves find themselves as the new #3. KW and NC fall one spot to #4 and #5, and battle each other, 1 day ahead of the upcoming Casper Invitational, which will feature 10 of the 12 4A teams.

3A results from last week were all over the place, as the top 3 all lost at least once. Buffalo will fill the void at top, and are the new #1. Jackson impressed voters last week, by traveling to and beating former #1 and now current #4 Mountain View. The Lady Broncs get rewarded with the #2 ranking. Worland holds steady at #3 after splitting their games last week, while Cody is in at #5. The Lady Broncs host the top ranked Lady Bison this weekend.

Not much changed in the latest 2A rankings. Wright is the unanimous #1 again, with Lyman at #2. Greybull and Shoshoni each move up one spot to #3 and #4 after a good weekend at the Thermopolis Invite, and play each other Thursday night. Elsewhere Big Horn drops a few spots to #5.

There's 1 new team in the top 5 in 1A. Upton takes the #5 spot, and the Lady Bobcats push defending champ Cokeville out. The top 4 is unchanged with Kaycee at #1, followed by Encampment, Lingle-Ft. Laramie and Little Snake River.
