Liam Fox from Cheyenne East joined an elite club in Wyoming High School Wrestling as he won his 4th State Championship in Casper on Saturday. Fox steamrolled the competition at this State Tournament with two pins and 2 technical falls and ended his prep career with a pin over Sheridan's Braxten Crow in the 157 pound final to finish the season 48-3.

Fox has been a machine on the mat and went 44-5 in his junior year, winning the 4A 150 pound State Championship. At last year's Tournament, he recorded 3 falls and beat Keegan Rager of Sheridan 5-3 to take the top of the podium. Rager by the way was this year's 4A State Champion at 165.

Back in his sophomore year. Fox won the 4A State Championship at 145 with a record of 50-8 with 3 pins at the State Tournament and a 7-5 win over Star Valley's Joseph Naef. He was an astounding 52-6 in his freshman year, grabbing State Championship #1 at 132 pounds. Fox is extremely quick on the mat and had a plan in each and every match. He'll continue his wrestling career at the next level, attending Western Wyoming College in Rock Springs.

We had a chance to talk with Fox about his big day in Casper and his sparking career.
