The Wyoming Boys basketball team finally beat Montana in their annual All-Star Series not once but twice! On Friday in Gillette, Wyoming broke a 22-game losing streak to Montana with a convincing 83-62 win. The Cowboy State guys opened up a big lead in the 3rd quarter and never looked back plus they played with a lot more energy than Montana did.

Wyoming was led by Cheyenne Central's Sammy Shumway with 12, his teammate Joe Sawyer along with Bodie Williams of Thunder Basin had 11 each. Tharan Archibald of Green River and Garrett Spielman threw in 10 apiece.

On Saturday at Lockwood High School in Billings, Wyoming made it 2 for 2 with a 94-85 win. It was a wide-open game as Joe Sawyer, Tharan Archibald, and Garrett Spielman from Sheridan had 16 each. Wyoming had an 18-1 run in the 2nd quarter but held on for the win.

Montana still leads the All-Star series 67-29. We have a few photos to share from Friday's game at the Pronghorn Center in Gillette and a video above. Enjoy!
