Ricky Faure of Rock Springs put on a great performance in the 1600.

Wyoming distance runners fared well at the Arcadia invitational in California this past weekend.   Ricky Faure of Rock Springs won the mile with blistering time of 4:09.  The overall wyoming state record, by the way,  is 4:15.    He clocked a :59 second final lap. Faure was interviewed by runnerspace.com and evaluated his winning performance.

Laramie’s Jonah Henry was 9:03 finishing 2nd in the 3200.  His time would be :21 seconds faster than the overall state mark held by Ricky Faure.  Kelly Walsh's Hunter Davila would run the same race in 9:15.

Several other Wyoming kids were on hand and placed in different heats and divisions.
