Pine Bluffs has recorded 6 wins without a loss and with the exception of an opening-day triumph over Shoshoni, the rest of the victories have been one-sided. The Hornets handed it to Saratoga in 1A 9-man play on Friday 57-12 and made it look easy.

In the first quarter, Pine Bluffs received a 15-yard run for a touchdown from Abe Serrano, then Shawn Shmidl came up with a pick-six to increase the lead to 14 which was followed by a 7-yard run to the end zone from Taylor Beeken.

The teams traded touchdowns in the 2nd quarter as Saratoga got on the scoreboard with a 16-yard TD connection from Heston Fisher to Deke Herring. Pine Bluffs came right back as quarterback Stu Lerwick threw to Ryan Fornstrom for 24 yards and a score. Taylor Beeken scored his 2nd TD of the night later on in the 2nd quarter and Saratoga found the end zone again with a 14-yard TD strike from Fisher to Burns Berger.

After that, the Hornets finished off the first half with two more touchdown receptions by Fornstrom from 45 and 39 yards out, and sandwiched in between that was a safety. Pine Bluffs led 5012 at the halftime intermission. Fornstrom added an intercpetion return for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter as the Hornets win it going away 57-12.

Pine Bluffs has an interesting game on Friday night on the road at 5-1 Lingle-Fort Laramie. Saratoga is 3-3 on the year and they'll host Southeast this week.
