On offense, Eardley had ten catches for 248 yards and one touchdown. He also ran for 220 yards and three TDs and returned one kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. Carson helped Mountain View to a 5-4 record and a spot in the 2A football playoffs.
Eardley also wrestled and competed in track and field at Mountain View High School.
He was a three-state state qualifier in wrestling. Eardley placed third in Class 3A at 175 pounds in 2024 and 182 pounds in 2023 at the Wyoming High School Wrestling State Championships.
In track and field, Carson is a three-time state qualifier. He is the defending 3A state champion in the 100-meter dash and was second in the 300-meter hurdles last year. The Buffalos have finished second or third in the boys’ team standings over the last three years.
Eardley joins high school teammate Fletcher Black in the Chadron State football program.
Chadron State competes at the NCAA Division II level. The Eagles are a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). They went 5-6 in the 2023 season.
