WyoPreps Weekly Legion Baseball Scoreboard for June 8-14, 2026

Week 10 sees tournament action explode across the Wyoming Legion Baseball schedule. This is the first week of the season, where every team is in action at least once, if not more. Conference games are popular on Monday and Tuesday, and then sprinkled throughout the rest of the week. The only tournament in the state is the Dooley Oil Classic in Laramie on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Laramie and its JV will host three teams from Colorado in round-robin action at Cowboy Field.

WYOPREPS WEEK 10 AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL SCHEDULE 2026

Five Wyoming teams will be involved in the Buffalo Wild Wings tournament in Billings, Montana. The Cheyenne Eagles, Green River, Lovell, Powell, and Sheridan Jets are part of that field. Cody will head north to Three Forks, MT, for the GVO Memorial Tournament. The Cheyenne Sixers and Gillette Riders are in the Battle at the Falls Tournament in Idaho Falls, ID. Finally, Gillette sends the Rustlers to the Battle for Omaha 17U Tournament in Nebraska.

MONDAY, JUNE 8:

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 9 Casper Drillers 1 (conference game) - The Jets scored 4 in the 2nd to take the lead for good. Martinson had 2 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs. Chance added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Casper Drillers 3 Sheridan Jets 2 (conference game) - The Drillers scored 2 in the 5th to take the lead. They got an insurance run in the 7th. Tuma, Moore, and Siemens had 1 hit & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Green River Knights 10 Cheyenne Eagles 2 (conference game) - The Knights took the lead with 3 in the 1st inning on back-to-back RBI doubles by Smart & Paoli. They added 4 in the 3rd and 3 in the 5th. Paoli led the offense with 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Eagles 4 Green River Knights 2 (conference game) - The Eagles tied it at 2-2 in the 3rd, and then took the lead in the 4th and added another run in the 6th. Carpenter and Perkins had 2 hits & 1 RBI each.

TUESDAY, JUNE 9:

Final Score: Cheyenne Eagles 17 Bridger Valley, WY 8 - The game was tied 5-5 going into the top of the 3rd, before the Eagles scored 12 runs across 4 innings. Barnes had 5 hits & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Bridger Valley, WY 12 Cheyenne Eagles 11 - Micheli had the RBI single for Bridger Valley to win it in the bottom of the 6th. Heaton added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Douglas Cats 11 Rock Springs Stallions 10 - McCarty had the game-winning, walk-off RBI double for Douglas. The Cats held an 8-4 lead before Rock Springs rallied for a 10-9 lead in the 7th. McCarty finished with 2 hits & 4 RBIs. Valerio homered among 2 hits & 6 RBIs for the Stallions.

Final Score: Douglas Cats 20 Rock Springs Stallions 3 - The Cats exploded for 19 runs in the 2nd inning. They took advantage of 7 walks, 6 errors, and 6 stolen bases. Crawford had 3 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs for Douglas. Freeburg added 2 hits & drove in 3 more runs.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 11 Cheyenne Hawks 0 (conference game) - DePoorter and K. Pexton each had 2 hits & 2 RBIs for the Oilers in the win. Johnson added 1 hit & 3 RBIs. Nowakowski tossed a 5-hit shutout.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 10 Cheyenne Hawks 6 (conference game) - The Hawks had a 5-0 lead through 4 innings before Casper scored 4 in the top of the 5th and 6 in the top of the 7th to win. K. Pexton had 2 hits & 2 RBIs, then Atnip added 1 hit & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Billings (MT) Cardinals 12 Cody Cubs 11 - The Cardinals scored 1 in the 6th to edge the Cubs. Undeberg had 3 hits (2B) & 2 RBIs for Cody.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 8 Billings Cardinals 5 - The Cubs jumped out to a 7-2 lead through 3 innings and held on. Hartley led the offense with 3 hits (3B) & 2 RBIs. Machen added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 9 Gillette Rustlers 3 (conference game) - The Raiders scored 7 runs over their last 3 at-bats to take the opener. Beau Anderson homered among 3 hits & 4 RBIs. Baker added 4 hits (2B, 3B) & drove in 2. He also got the win on the bump and allowed 3 runs on 3 hits with 10 Ks.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 6 Gillette Rustlers 3 (conference game) - Leading 2-1, Riverton scored 4 insurance runs to pull out the road sweep. Beau Anderson had 2 hits & 1 RBI. Cox added 1 hit & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Billings (MT) Upper Deck Expos 15 Powell Pioneers 11 (8 inn.) - The Expos scored 4 in the top of the 8th to win it. They took advange of 10 errors by Powell. The Pioneers 3 hits (HR) & 3 RBIs from Ostermiller in the loss.

Final Score: Billings (MT) Upper Deck Expos 13 Powell Pioneers 9 - The Expos plated 4 in the top of the 7th to seal it. Gates drove in 2 for Powell.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 5 Jackson Giants 2 (conference game) - The Riders scored 1 in the 3rd to take the lead for good after a 2-2 tie. Wood had 2 hits and 1 RBI. Schilling got the win on the mound.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 6 Jackson Giants 2 (conference game) - Gillette took the lead with 4 runs in the top of the 3rd. Clifford was the winning pitcher with 10 strikeouts through 5 innings.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 37 Lander Legends 6 (conference game) - The Troopers rolled with 15 runs in the 2nd, 11 in the 3rd, and 9 more in the 4th. They had 19 hits, and 4 of those were home runs. Sheridan added 2 triples and 4 doubles. Hamrick led the way with 4 hits, 2 HRs, & 7 RBIs.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 9 Lander Legends 1 (conference game) - Sheridan scored 4 runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings to pull away. Hamrick had 2 hits & 1 RBI. Greer & Malmberg combined for 12 strikeouts.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers 5 Wheatland Lobos 3 (conference game) - Richardson had 3 hits & 3 RBIs at the plate. He got the win with a complete game on the mound.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers 5 Wheatland Lobos 2 (conference game) - Wesnitzer allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 6 Ks. Laramie took advantage of 6 errors by Wheatland. Gomez had a hit & scored 2 times.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10:

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 9 Lander Legends 0 - 3 pitchers combined on a 1-hitter with 7 Ks. Ligocki had 3 hits, 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored.

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 10 Lander Legends 0 - Another 3 pitchers combined on the 1-hit shutout. The Jets took control with a 7-run 2nd inning. Gillis had 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Kintzi and Dominguez added a double and 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Douglas Cats 7 Laramie JV Rangers 4 (conference game) - The Cats took the lead with 4 runs in the 3rd. Two insurance runs in the 7th helped ice it. Freeburg had a double & 3 RBIs. Douglas capitalized on 6 walks, 3 stolen bases, and 4 errors. Verdecia & Cass led the Laramie JV with 3 hits each.

Final Score: Douglas Cats 19 Laramie JV Rangers 12 (conference game) - Douglas scored in every inning. They jumped out to a 7-1 lead and stretched it to 10-3. The Laramie JV got within two before the Cats pulled away again. Ohnstad and Lewis had 5 hits & 5 RBIs each. Laramie JV got 3 hits & 4 RBIs from Goodspeed.

Final Score: Wheatland Lobos 6 Miles City (MT) Mavericks 3 - The Lobos rallied from a 3-0 deficit with 6 runs over their last 3 at-bats. Peralta had the go-ahead 2-run double. Wheatland finished with 8 stolen bases and took advantage of 3 errors.

Final Score: Miles City (MT) Mavericks 14 Wheatland Lobos 9 - The Mavericks jumped out to a 12-0 lead. Bohlander led Wheatland with 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 15 Chadron, NE 0 - The Tigers put the game away with 14 runs in the 4th inning. Kelly & Hager combined on a 2-hit shutout. Kramer had 3 hits (3B), 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored. Nunnes added a double & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 13 Spearfish (SD) Spartans 7 - The Oilers scored in their last 5 at-bats and pulled away. A 6-run 6th inning capped the win. Atnip & Martinez had 2 hits & 2 RBIs each. Casper took advantage of 15 walks & 7 stolen bases.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 4 Spearfish Spartans 3 (9 inns.) - Schauss had the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 9th for the walk-off win by Casper. Pownell led the Oilers with 2 hits & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Billings (MT) Royals 5 Gillette Rider 3 - A 4-run 4th proved to be the difference for the Royals. Hawk & Wood had 2 hits & drove in 1 run each for Gillette.

Final Score: Idaho Falls Bandits 10 Cheyenne Sixers 0 - The Sixers were limited to 1 hit. IF scored 6 times in the 1st two innings and pulled away from there.

Battle of Omaha Tournament 17U in Omaha, NE

Final Score: Gretna (NE) East Griffs Post 216 Black 5 Gillette Rustlers 3 - The Griffs scored the last 5 runs of the game. Hamilton & Mefford had RBIs for the Rustlers.

Final Score: Dodge City (KS) A's 17U 14 Gillette Rustlers 3 - Dodge City jumped out 9-0 and cruised from there. Hamilton had 1 hit & 1 RBI for the Rustlers.
