Wyoming Legion Baseball Scoreboard for May 18-25, 2026

American Legion Baseball teams in Wyoming roll into Week 7 of the 2026 season. This will be the first big weekend of tournament action. Three are in the Cowboy State, while four teams play in out-of-state events over the Memorial Day weekend. Gillette hosts its Kirby Drube Memorial Tournament with three other in-state teams and a pair of out-of-state squads. Riverton has the Roy Peck Wood Bat Tournament with in-state teams. Rock Springs will play in the Green River B tourney.

WYOPREPS WEEK 7 AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL SCHEDULE 2026

The Casper Wildcatters head south to Colorado, while the Cheyenne Hawks, Douglas Cats, and Torrington Tigers are playing in Gering, NE. There are two conference twin bills, and both are in the South Conference. With the holiday weekend, WyoPreps extends its schedule through Memorial Day (Monday).

Gillette Riders at Casper Oilers - canceled

TUESDAY, MAY 19:

Final Score: Green River Knights 13 Rock Springs Stallions 10 - A 5-run 2nd gave the Knights the lead, and they held off the Stallions the rest of the way. Mandros & Smart had 1 hit & 3 RBIs each. Akin added 2 hits (3B), 1 RBI, and 4 runs scored. GR capitalized on 9 stolen bases & 10 errors. Rock Springs got 2 hits (3B) & 3 RBIs from Valerio.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 20:

Final Score: Laramie Rangers 7 Casper Oilers 3 (conference game) - The Rangers jumped out to a 6-0 lead. Dorrell allowed 1 unearned run on 1 hit with 12 Ks over 6.1 IP. Harris and Gill had 2 hits & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 12 Laramie Rangers 2 (conference game) - The Oilers jumped out to a 6-0 lead and scored in each inning. Reid had 2 hits & 3 RBIs. Three others had 1 hit & drove in 2 runs each. Galles allowed 2 runs on 2 hits. Casper took advantage of 4 errors. McLean had 1 hit & 2 RBIs for Laramie.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 9 Laramie JV Rangers 1 (conference game) - A 6-run 4th helped the Hawks pull away. Gamo had 3 hits & drove in 1 run. Three more Cheyenne batters had 1 hit & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 9 Laramie JV Rangers 2 (conference game) - The Hawks scored 4 times in the 1st inning and never trailed. Aragon had 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 16 Gillette Rustlers 0 (9-inning game) - The Jets scored in every inning. 5 pitchers combined on a no-hitter. Kintzi and Gillis had 2 hits & 2 RBIs apiece. Hutton added 3 hits & scored 3 runs.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 3 Sheridan Troopers 2 (8 inns.) - Riders won on a walkoff run scored on a wild pitch. Craig had 1 hit, 2 walks, and 1 run scored for Gillette. Lamb & Phillips had RBI hits for Sheridan.

Roy Peck Wood Bat Tournament in Riverton

Final Score: Jackson Giants 6 Wheatland Lobos 1 - A 4-run 3rd was the key for the Giants. Menke had 2 hits & 1 RBI, and Peterman added 1 hit & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 9 Lander Legends 3 - Sheridan scored 4 in the 1st and never trailed. The Jets capped it with 3 in the 7th. Gillis had a double and drove in 2 runs. Kintzi & Dominguez added RBIs.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 6 Lovell Mustangs 1 - The Raiders scored 2 in the 3rd to take the lead and added 4 more in the 5th. Heikkila had 2 doubles, drove in 1, and scored 2 runs. Baker struck out 11 in the win.

Gering PVC Tournament in Gering, NE

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 13 Buckley Bombers (NE) 8 - The Tigers used a 6-run 5th inning to seize control. Shields had 3 hits (2-2B) & 5 RBIs. Bruch added 4 hits (3-2B), drove in 1 run, and scored 4 runs.

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 16 Gering, NE 3 - Torrington scored 7 runs in the 1st inning and added 9 more in their last 2 at-bats. Hager homered among 2 hits & 4 RBIs. Kramer added 3 hits (2B) & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 12 North Platte, NE 3 - Sixers were down 2-3, before getting 2 runs in the top of the 3rd to take the lead. They would tack on 6 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th for the win. Cotton had 3 hits & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Creighton Prep Varsity Jr Jays (NE) 8 Cheyenne Sixers 2 - Cheyenne was limited to 2 runs on 4 hits.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 17 Rapid City Post 22 Bullets 1 - The Cubs scored in all 4 at-bats. Phillips homered among 3 hits & 7 RBIs. Undeberg added 3 hits & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Eagles 13 Windsor (CO) Warriors 4 - Cheyenne scored 6 times in the 1st to set the tone. Solitro had 2 hits & 3 RBIs, while Palmer and Carpenter contributed 2 hits & 2 RBIs apiece.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 10 Rapid City Post 22 Bullets 6 - The Cubs took the lead with 6 runs in the 1st inning. Undeberg and Machen had 2 hits & 3 RBIs each. Sitz also drove in 3.
